I got 16000 hours. But my opinion it’s the number of landings in that time. Like I said “it’s my opinion”. I did 12 : 37 hours in a single day with 140 landings. Offshore Thank you.

I was just talking with a friend about NYC as a sort of Mecca back in the 70's, 80's through the 2000's as a place where there were co-pilot positions aplenty. I worked at Island starting in '82 as a copilot on a Twin Star on a contract with Merck Pharmaceuticals with 150 hrs then switched to NY helicopters on the S58ET's flying to the airports, (JFK, LGA, EWR, and 34th St). Pay was $12K/yr and that was up from about $9K for the Vietnam guys a year or so prior. After that, it was on to Omniflight and the PanAm thing with 222's and the Westland 30, Damin Aviation, a smattering of 135 operators, Trump with S61N's, (I didn't fly the Chinooks), A dozen different airframes, sight-seeing, charter, photo work, airlines, (3). It was a time of opportunity and, from what I'm hearing now, unique in that. I'm not even sure there's much sight-seeing left now. If you have any questions, ask away.

Hello my name is Ryan Luellen, currently 28 years old active duty navy. I am applying for the high school to flight school program due to my separation date being next month June 4th 2024. My recruiter and the testing center both told me it would be easier to finish my packet as a prior service member rather than jumping through all the hoops while still being in the navy. I’m currently scheduled to take my test next month and I’m looking to start a dialogue to get letter of recommendation. I’m willing to talk to anyone or if anyone is stationed or knows someone at Joint base Lewis McCord I can drive there and meet in person while I still have base access. I’ve been struggling to find someone so anything helps. Thank you in advance

Are there any individuals out there interested in teaming up for a Schweizer 300C lease partnership in the Los Angeles area?

Did you ever manage the switch? I would see Aircrane when I flew my motorglider over to Winder.

yea, dragging an 8 lb GPU would be unheard of. too bad not allowed to carry any type of battery onboard, I guess none of the medical equipment has a battery either. , flashlights, cell phones, portable radios.....

You use whatever method the flight manual tells you to use. I don't think you can drag the GPU around with you as it would be considered HAZMAT. Never heard of it or seen it done.
