WHO WE ARE

World Fisheries Trust (WFT) is a registered Canadian charity that began in 1995 in response to the need to protect the genetic variability of dwindling BC salmon stocks.

INTERNATIONAL

WFT work with small scale fisheries in Latin America to develop community based aquaculture management and improving food security for vulnerable populations. 

LOCAL

WFT works locally in the Greater Victoria Area through our divisions, Coastal Collaborative Sciences and Seaquaria Ocean Education.

Seaquaria delivers hands-on environmental education programs in classrooms and on field-trips.
